All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your appointment. Any reschedules made within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of your booking fee and a new one must be paid at your next booking. Failure to pay this booking fee or any remaining balance will result in you being blocked from booking with me in the future. BOOKING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service total. If it is an emergency, please communicate with me as soon as possible to avoid any extra charges. It is up to my discretion what constitutes as an emergency and whether or not you will be charged. I value and respect your time and commitment to me and I expect the same from my clients. If for any reason I have to cancel or reschedule your appointment, except in the cases of emergencies, you will receive 50% off your next scheduled service. NEW CLIENT BOOKING: All new clients are required to complete either an in-person or virtual consultation with me (NOT required for lash, brow, or waxing appointments). This ensures that we are on the same page about your goals and expectations and allows me to thoroughly go over consent/intake forms and how I work as your esthetician. In-person consultations will include a brief cleanse, skin analysis, and finishing products so I can see your skin in person and how it responds. This is the time for you to ask any and all questions, go over your current skincare routine, and voice any concerns you have. LATE ARRIVALS: If you are more than 30 minutes late for a facial appointment, or more than 15 minutes late for any other service, it is considered a no-show and you will be charged 100% of the service fee. I understand that life happens and you may be a few minutes late and I will do my best to accommodate you in the time remaining of your appointment. (Example, if you are booked for a 50-minute facial and are 15 minutes late, your remaining service time is 35 minutes). You will still be charged for the entirety of the service, there are no discounts for not receiving an entire amount of time if you are late. There is no guarantee I will accomplish everything listed in the service if you are running late to your appointment. Please contact me as soon as possible if you know you will be late. BOOKING FOR MINORS: All appointments must be made under the name of the person receiving the services. Any minor is REQUIRED to have a parent or guardian present with them during the entirety of their service, NO EXCEPTIONS. In order to maintain a quiet, relaxing environment for you and the surrounding professionals, children and other people (except in the case of appointments booked for minors) are NOT allowed in the facial area during your service. OFF HOURS BOOKING PREMIUM: If my working hours are unable to accommodate your schedule, you are more than welcome to schedule outside of those hours for an additional $50. Any appointments made outside of my working hours must be made with me through email or instagram. PAYMENTS: In order to protect my safety, cash is NOT accepted as a form of payment at the end of your service. If you would like to leave a cash tip, please be aware that I do NOT carry change on my person. HEALTH RELATED CONCERNS: If you are feeling unwell, please contact me 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid the late-cancellation fee. If you are experiencing a cold sore, you MUST reschedule your appointment 48 hours prior to avoid forfeiting your booking fee. In order to book again, the cold sore must be COMPLETELY healed meaning there is no visible sore or scab. Cold sores are a form of HSV-1 (Herpes Simplex Virus) and are extremely contagious. If you arrive to your appointment with an active cold sore, your appointment will be cancelled and you will forfeit your booking fee. These policies and expectations are not meant to be harsh or unreasonable, they are set in place to ensure I protect my time as a practicing esthetician and that there are no miscommunications. By booking with me you agree that you have read, understand, and will abide by any and all policies put in place by Kaitlyn Tipler Aesthetics.
